MY SERVICES AND PRICES
Affordable Medical Pedicure

I charge £45 for a clinical appointment and £60 for a home visit. Some follow up appointments, such as verruca treatment, are priced at £30-40. On average, an appointment lasts 30 minutes.
I use sterilised instruments for every treatment.
CALLUS, CORN, VERRUCAE AND ONYCHOMYCOSIS TREATMENT
I manage mechanical hyperkeratosis by means of sharp debridement, provision of deflective padding and by the use of emollient, footwear and orthoses that minimise effects of causative trauma. I assess conditions such as verruca and onychomycosis (fingal nail infection), discussing options and providing treatment for these conditions.
ORTHOTIC PRESCRIPTION
Foot biomechanics is my area of special interest. After a biomechanical assessment, I advise my patients on footwear and orthotics, help them choose off-the-shelf orthotics or order custom-made devices for them.
INGROWING TOENAIL TREATMENT
Ingrowing toenail or onychocryptosis is a condition in which a spike, shoulder or serrated edge of the nail has pierced the epidermis of the sulcus and penetrated the dermal tissues. The skin becomes red, shiny and tense and the toe appears swollen. There is throbbing pain and acute tenderness to the slightest pressure. If the onychocryptosus is uncomplicated by infection, I remove the penetrating splinter, and cover the toe with sterile dressing and a bandage.
DIABETIC CHECK-UPS
Diabetic foot complications are common and vary considerably in their pathophysiology and clinical presentations, ranging from subtle skin and joint changes to foot ulceration and gangrene. Basic foot care is essential in diabetes, however many patients are unable to monitor and inspect their own feet. Therefore, a regular contact with podiatrist is essential. The predilection to hard skin formation, heel fissures and fungal skin and nail infection are considered when screening diabetic foot. Annual screening for neurological and vascular problems is the cornerstone of diabetic foot screening.
